The service covers the chef's time and preparation; ingredients are arranged separately, sourced to the meal once a menu is set. Best requested a few days ahead, though later notice can often still be accommodated.

Set above the tide line, the terrace holds its own quiet through the morning hours, before the beach below wakes up. Mats are laid facing the water rather than the room, so the horizon sets the pace rather than an instructor's count. Concrete underfoot stays cool until midmorning; after that, most guests move to the shade at the terrace's edge.

Palms and native desert flora line the stone paths between the suites and the sea, planted to shade without crowding the view. Bougainvillea climbs the courtyard walls in late spring; in the evening, the paths are lit low, at ankle height, so the stars stay visible. A quiet place to pass on the way to the water, not a destination in itself — though guests tend to linger anyway.
